Say Something is a short experimental documentary where Katie Agustina Aranda explores her relationship with her father, Panfilo Aranda—a Paraguayan immigrant, workaholic, and amateur videographer. Using material that he shot throughout the last forty years, the story follows his journey from passionate filmmaker to distant father. With archival footage and interviews, the film is about family, immigration, and a strained father-daughter relationship.

Filip, a seasoned artist in his sixties, has spent most of his life hiding his true self, haunted by a troubled childhood. He describes himself as a 'non person', merely existing, pleasing others, and evading reality, trapped in a facade. However, as he confronts his past, Filip embarks on a journey of self-discovery, finally embracing his authentic identity after six decades of suppression. Through introspection and acceptance, he begins to unravel the layers of his true essence, marking a profound transformation in his life.

Made in close collaboration with 67-year-old Lloyd, this immersive documentary fable follows the jagged path of a decades-long street survivor, across harsh winters and blistering summers, as he sells discarded items to motorists, sleeps in junkyards and lapses into near-psychedelic reveries.
